Othello! Help Overview:
This is the game of Othello. The object is to outflank your opponent's pieces with your own. By doing so, all of their pieces surrounded by your color are captured and converted to your color. By default the computer plays black. To play black, let the computer go first. Click in any "legal" square to make your move. The computer will make its move and the board will be redisplayed. You may not see your most recent piece on the board after the computer has moved since the computer's move may have captured it. The computer's last move will be marked with a red dot. The game ends either when the board fills up or when neither player has a legal move available.

a legal move for you
an illegal move for you

Scores:
The score is displayed at the bottom of the board. Your color's piece is marked with a red dot.
